Photographing a Rock Climber

Our friend, Chris, will be letting us photograph him doing some rock climbing in early April. I'm really excited! He's a great guy and a very experienced climber, and climbing in this part of the world is, well, fairly well breathtaking. :) I've shot Chris in the past, for family portraits and personal ones, and he's great to work with, so I'm very excited!

Not a whole lot of other photography projects on board right now. There's lots of design (freelance) work at the moment, which I hope to have finished within the next couple weeks, plus we are renovating our back yard, as some of you know, to include two ponds, a huge waterfall, and a natural-looking river between the two. It's looking pretty great so far! But it's time-consuming, that's for sure. However, when it's all complete, it should open up a whole new avenue for photographing songbirds, so you'll probably see a lot more of those from me in the future. :)

  1. If it is anything like the last photos of him with his climbing tackle, this should be great! I'm looking forward to seeing those photos!

  2. Haha. Shhhh .. that was only for a very few photographer friends to try to get some perspective on my PHOTOGRAPHY .. not on the model. ;) I'm very much looking forward to shooting him, though .. supposed to be this weekend, but I have to confirm.
